Nashville MDMA Center - Coming Soon

MDMA Therapy is the next available option for psychedelic therapy. Coming in 2023, this will be the first new psychedelic therapy since ketamine therapy. Research currently shows it to be very effective for treating PTSD and trauma in general. Although it’s only in Phase 3 clinical trials with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), the results are profound. Trials show the true value of MDMA as a psychedelic therapy medicine.

The Nashville Psychedelic Center has applied to be part of the Expanded Access program. Ideally, we will be able to bring MDMA therapy to Nashville within the year. Robert DeSalvo was the first MAPS trained therapist in Tennessee and has been championing the use of psychedelic therapy.

We understand that seeking help for mental health issues can be daunting, which is why we prioritize creating a safe and compassionate space for our patients. Our team is dedicated to understanding your unique needs and goals for treatment, and we work collaboratively with you to create a personalized treatment plan.

MDMA Treatment Process (Upon Legalization)

  • Step 1 - Intake

During our client intake session our therapists will get to know you, understand your goals and desire for psychedelic therapy. During this meeting we will create a customized treatment plan aimed at meeting your mental health goals.

  • Step 2 - Preparation

In this session we will dive deep into our therapeutic realtionship in preparation for the upcoming psychedelic medicine session. This will help you to be able to explore your inner world more completely.

  • Step 3 - Medicine

One MDMA session is around 8 hours. We will follow MAPS protocol as research shows it to be effective. The effects begin to appear after around 30-45 minutes, peak around 1.5-2 hours, and trail off for the next 2-4 hours.

  • Step 4 - Integration

Psychedelic therapy often raises a variety of insights about us, others, or the world that require time and attention to incorporate into existing worldviews. We assist in understanding, making meaning, and cementing growth from your experience.
