Ketamine Therapy Nashville

Your Nashville Ketamine Center

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that has been used in medicine for over 50 years. Recently, it has gained attention for its potential use in treating mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain. When used in low doses in a controlled setting, Ketamine can help alleviate symptoms of these conditions and provide profound insights and transformative experiences for patients.

At our Nashville clinic, we offer KAP in conjunction with talk therapy sessions to maximize its therapeutic benefits. Our therapists work in conjunction with medical professionals who administer ketamine through a small intramuscular injection.  The therapists then guide clients through the experience in a supportive and calming environment.

We understand that seeking help for mental health issues can be daunting, which is why we prioritize creating a safe and compassionate space for our patients. Our team is dedicated to understanding your unique needs and goals for treatment, and we work collaboratively with you to create a personalized treatment plan.

Our Ketamine Treatment Process

  • Step 1 - Intake

During our client intake session our therapists will get to know you, understand your goals and desire for psychedelic therapy. During this meeting we will create a customized treatment plan aimed at meeting your mental health goals.

  • Step 2 - Preparation

During your three preparation sessions we will dive deep into our therapeutic relationship in preparation for the upcoming psychedelic medicine session. This will help you to be able to explore your inner world more completely.

  • Step 3 - Medicine

The average number of ketamine therapy sessions are 4-6, each lasting 2-3 hours. We administer an intramuscular ketamine injection. Effects begin to appear after about 3-5 minutes, peak for about 40 minutes, and dissipate over the following hour.

  • Step 4 - Integration

Psychedelic therapy often raises a variety of insights about us, others, or the world that require time and attention to incorporate into existing worldviews. We assist in understanding, making meaning, and cementing growth from your experience.
